What is a cookie?
A "cookie" is a small text file that a website places on the computer hard drive of the user. There are several types of cookie and the most common are often referred to as 'session' and 'stored' cookies.
These are used to keep track of information needed by the user as he or she travels from page to page within a website. The information captured includes the domain name, the IP address, the operating system, the internet browser version, how long the user stays on a page and the route used to navigate through the pages.
We use benign, short lived 'session' and "stored" cookies to identify whether a website user has logged, in, where details are located that can be used to pre-fill parts of on-line forms and to personalise the user's visit to the website. They are also used to track anonymously which areas of the site are popular and which parts are less popular and not used. We use this information to target carefully our website resources.
Please note that the information we gather from the this technology does not specify any specific individual and is used by us as statistical data only about the user's browsing actions and patterns, or to supply a "remember me" facility.
Third Party Websites
We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites. We advise users to read the privacy policies of other websites before registering any personal data.
What are the new rules?

Certain cookies are "strictly necessary" to allow us to provide you with the service you expect from us online. We do not need your consent to use these because we could not provide the service without those cookies.
